Vardar hopes to extend SEHA winning stretch to three in a row

Macedonian and European handball champion Vardar aims for a third win in the regional SEHA league as it prepares to welcome Meshkov Brest from Belarus on Friday afternoon.

The Belarusian champion is the only SEHA league team that was able to beat Vardar in its Jane Sandanski fortress, which happened in the 2015-2016 season, when they won a game with a one goal difference. Last year, the two teams played tied 34:34.

Vardar comes to the game in good form, after winning to games in a row, including a double digit win over Gorenje (32:19). Meshkov Brest beat Slovenian team Celje with 29 goals to 24 in its previous game.

The SEHA league game is the final test for Vardar ahead of the important European Handball Federation Champions League game against Viszla Plock.
