Amok by Vardan Tozija wins award at Otranto film festival


Amok, a film by Vardan Tozija, won the main prize at the Golden Lighthouse 2017 film festival in Otranto, Italy.

Amok tells the story of a young man who goes through a bruising growing up experience that turns him in a vengeful man filled with anger. Martin Gjorgoski, Deniz Abdula and Nikola Ristanovski star in the film, which was produced by Dream Factory and Red Helicopters from Albania. The Macedonian Film Agency and the SEE Cinema Network supported the film, which also won the FIPRESCI award at the Pristina PRIFEST festival and the award at the Kitzbuhel festival in Austria.
